Description

• 2 types of tips (bevel and trocar)
• Needle available in 2 sizes (120mm and 160mm) – the longest PediGuard instrument/shaft
• Progressive diameter of the Needle to ease the insertion and removal
• Graduated shaft to control the progression into the bone
• Designed primarily for helping surgeons reduce radiation exposure during minimally-invasive procedures

Product components:

• PediGuard Handle - The handle has to be used with a needle of 120mm or 160mm lenghts.
• Cannulated PediGuard Needle, Trocar tip, 160mm -The 160mm long needle with a trocar tip to be used with the handle.
• Cannulated PediGuard Needle, Bevel tip, 160mm - The 160mm long needle with a bevel tip to be used with the handle. The bevel tip enhances steerability of the needle during pedicle drilling.
• Cannulated PediGuard Needle, Trocar tip, 120mm - The 120mm long needle with a trocar tip to be used with the handle. It is the most commonly used needle for MIS procedures.
• Starter Stylet, Bevel Tip - The Starter Stylets to facilitate cortical perforation at the entry point of the pedicle in 120mm or 160mm.
• Cannula - The Cannulas allow preparation of two or more pedicles at the same time in 120mm or 160mm.
